| ■ Member 岸田 繁 / Shigeru Kishida 佐藤 征史 / Masashi Sato ■ Biography 96年に立命館大学のサークル仲間である、岸 繁（VO.&G）、佐藤征史(B)を中心に結成。9 7年11月BADNEWSより1000枚限定デモ音源CD「もし し」をリリースし、年内に完売、関西のみ らず全国での注目を集める。98年５月ミニア ルバム「ファンデリア」をリリースし、同年 10月にはマキシシングル「東京」でメジャー ビューを果たす。現在までにシングル18枚 オリジナルアルバム7枚をリリース。現在の 本のロックシーンで最も注目を集めるバン である。 2007年 邦楽ロックバンド史上初となるウィーンレコ ーディングを開始する。5月には18番目のシン グルとなるJUBILEEを発表し、6月27日には7作目 なるアルバム「ワルツを踊れ Tanz Walzer」を発売。ロックとクラシックの融合に よって日本の音楽シーンに一石を投じた。そ して、9月には史上初となる京都での野外音 フェスティバル「京都音楽博覧会 IN 梅小路公園」を主催し、大成功をおさめる。 またこれまでライブ盤CDを一切リリースしな ったくるりが、年末に行われた京都磔磔、 シフィコ横浜（with ウィーン・アンバサーデ・オーケストラ）の ライブの模様を、自身初のライブベスト盤CD Philharmonic or die」として2008年2月に発売。続いてそのライ の模様を映像化したDVD「横濱ウィンナー」 ファンの思い出を投稿と写真などで飾った 籍「思い出くるりん」を発売。いずれもロ グヒットを記録している。この夏は「デラ っぴんツアー」と銘打った対バンツアーを 行、夏フェスにも参加。その後、9月3日に20 枚目となるシングル「さよならリグレット」 を発売。9月6日には第二回目の京都音博「京 音楽博覧会2008 IN 梅小路公園」を開催し成功を収めた。ツアー 終了後もとどまることを知らないスピードで 活動を行い、シーンの先頭を突っ走っている 。 Quruli was formed in 1996 mainly by Shigeru Kishida (Vo. & G) and Masashi Sato (B). On November in 1997, they released the first demo EP “Moshi Moshi” from Bad News Records. It aroused interest against them across the country and sold it up in this year. On May in 1998, they released a mini album called “Fandelier” and a debut EP “Tokyo” from Speedstar Records on October. They have released 18 EPs and 7 albums so far. Now that they are the most weighty band in Japan’s Rock scene. On March in 2003, they played at SXSW for the first time and went on a long domestic tour. At this time they played at 45 halls and clubs including Nippon Budokan, where is one of the most honorable place for Japanese musicians. In 2005, Kishida and Sato formed SINGER SONGER with a female vocalist “Cocco” as their side project. For their 10th anniversary, Quruli released the best album “The Best Of Quruli / TOWER OF MUSIC LOVER” in 2006. It debuted at the third ranking on Oricon chart. In 2007, Quruli went to Vienna, Austria for recording, which was first time for musicians in Japan. The 18th EP “JUBILEE came out on May and 7th full-album “Tanz Walzer” on June 27th. This album attempted the fusion of classical and rock music. On September 23rd, they hosted “Kyoto Music Festival In Umekoji Koen” the first outdoor music festival ever in Kyoto, and it ended in a triumph. The first live album which was recorded at Taku Taku in Kyoto and Pacifico Yokohama (w/ Ambassade Orchester Wien) on December is on the street on February in 2008. Consistently, they released the second live clips called "Yokohama Wiener" and a book "Omoide Qurulin" which is compiled the memories of their fans. This summer, they went on a tour called "Dera Zeppin Tour" and played at many music festivals. On September 3, they released their 20th single "Sayonara Regret" and they hoseted an outdoor music festival "Kyoto Music Expo" on September 6. 横浜パシフィコ ブレーメン（アンコールver .） |
