| ♥Welcome to "My Artist Friends Space For Japanese Friends"♥ 日本の皆さん、初めまして♥ このページは 去年の夏、私のイギリス人の お友達"Joshua Jones"の音楽を、皆さんにご紹介する為に開設 しました。 Joshuaは、イギリスのCardiff出身で、現在21歳で す。12歳の時に、独学でピアノを弾き始めま た。 Cystic Fibrosis(嚢胞性線維症) という、治療法が見つかっていない病気と闘 いながら、病気で苦しむ人々を、音楽を通し て激励する為に、本当に頑張ってきました。 去年10月にJoshuaのファーストアルバム "Seize The Day" が発売され、イギリスでは、大注目を浴びて いましたが、残念ながら、レコード会社に問 題があり、音楽は趣味としてのみ続けると発 表し、沢山の方に応援して頂いていた、彼の MySpace音楽ページを削除する事に決めました 「急な決断だった為に、ファンの皆さんに、 ご挨拶とお礼が出来ず、大変申し訳なかった 」と、Joshuaのご家族からメッセージがありま した。 今まで、Joshuaを、MySpaceを通して応援して頂 た皆さんに、Joshuaに代わってお礼を申し上 ます。 このぺージは、Joshuaが元気になり、MySpaceに ってきてくれる日まで、 私のアメリカ、ヨーロッパで活動している、 アーティストのお友達を、 サポートするページにしていきます。 素敵なアーティストと音楽を、ご紹介してい きたいと思いますので、日本の皆さん、フレ ンドリクエストを、どんどん送って下さいね 。これからも、どうぞ宜しくお願い致します ♥ (English Message for New Friends) ♥Welcome to "My Artist Friends Space For Japanese Friends"♥ I originally launched this MySpace page last summer to introduce my British friend "Joshua Jones" to my Japanese friends. Josh is from Cardiff and was born in 1987. He taught himself to play the piano when he was 12 and he writes his own songs. His debut album "Seize the Day" and single "Kilimanjaro" played on the video below have been released last October. His song "Kilimanjaro" came to him when he climbed the mountain Kilimanjaro to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Trust which he plans to do again. Throughout his life he has raised just over £250,000 for CF. Josh is a CF sufferer himself but he won't let it get in his way. CF is the most common inherited life threatening disease. The average life expectancy for someone with CF is 31. It affects the lungs and the digestive system. Most sufferers take over 40 tablets a day and have vigorous physiotherapy twice a day sometimes lasting an hour. This is why it is so important in his eyes to live life to the full and enjoy what you love doing. Josh is a true inspiration to everyone, especially to fellow CF sufferers. Unfortunately, the experience he has had in the music industry has not been a good one and he decided to delete his MySpace Music page. Josh continues to be active in raising awareness and funds for CF. Since I launched this page, I've made so many wonderful friends in Japan. Special Thanks to Miwako and Nami who have helped me so much to keep running this page. I decided to launch this new page for all my artist friends in USA, Europe, Australia and Japan. If you are an artist, who would like us to help promoting your music in Japan through this page, please send us a Friend request/message. We can't add friends randomly, but we are always up for great music. Once you add this page, please feel free to post the information on your concerts, album release in Japan, etc. I'm looking forward to making many friends and introducing the coolest and amazingly talented artists to the Music Lovers in Japan.
