| 塚本サイコ名義での新作「melodyscape for winterseason」 が来月2008年11/19、ユニバーサルレコードより リリース！ さらにクリスマスシーズンには駅ナカ「エキ ュート」のBGMとしてもタイアップ。 とある某所ホールにて録音したベーゼンドル ファーの凛とふくよかなピアノの響きが 印象的、ピアノプラスワンというシンプルな コラボレーションで奏でる 美しき賛美歌のカヴァー集！！ＯＷＮ ＵＮ ＩＴである「Ｍｕｓｅｕｍ ｏｆ Ｐｌａｔ ｅ」名義でこれまでに数々の作品を発表しな がら、多様なジャンルのミュージシャンとの コラボレートを積極的に行う。 主な交流はooiooのドラマー・パーカショニス として活躍中のOLaibi、 koss aka kuniyuki takahashi(コラボレートユニットsaikoss)、 二見裕志、パードン木村(コラボレートユニ トVIDO)、 自身の作品へのゲストとして畠山美由紀、ボ アダムス・ooiooのヨシミ、 DSK、カヒミカリィ、シャカゾンビのツッチー など・・・ リミキサーとして瀧見憲司、エンマ、竹村延 和、キャプテンファンク、 リトルクリーチャーズの鈴木正人などを迎え る。 他のアーティストへのピアノやアレンジとし ての参加も多く、これまでに シーガルスクリーミングキスハーキスハー、 シャカゾンビ、井上薫--チャリチャリなど-- 藤原ヒロシなどの作品への参加、サイレント ポエツのリミックス・・・ 彼女のクラシカルなバックグラウンドを超え たアーティストとの交流をしてきた。また、 作曲家として、映画、ＴＶ-ＳＨＯＷの音楽 どを手掛ける。 ２００７年の仕事として意外な幅を広げたの が、吉本興業所属のお笑いタレントのショー トムービーの音楽監督！ 藤井隆監督、チュートリアルの徳井監督、中 田カウス監督、チャドマレーン監督、だいた ひかる監督など９監督の作品を手掛け、その 後は藤井隆氏の舞台用音楽も担当した。ベー シックな部分での彼女の音楽はアンビエント ミュージックに特化しつつも、そのオリエン タリズム、印象的なメロディラインに定評が あり、国内でオリジナルのポジションを築い ている。OLaibiとともに演奏活動も積極的に行 っている。 日本人の中で比べても小さなその手指から紡 がれる、禅に通じる彼女のストイックな演奏 は多くの聴衆を感動させる力を持っている。 ２００７年１２月２２日塚本サイコ（Saiko Tsukamoto)名義での初のアルバム 「Tiny Finger Pianist」をクルーエルレコードよりリリースSa iko Tsukamoto is a female pianist/ composer, who has created acclaimed works under the name of "Museum of Plate." She also collaborates actively with different genres of musicians. Her works can also be heard on soundtracks from movies and TV programs, as well as fashion shows. Doug Aitken, an L.A. based visual artist, once came to Japan. When he heard her "Lobby," he was so impressed that he instantly decided to use her music for one of his works. Even though her works can be characterized as ambient music, her works with its oriental flavor and its striking melody line have been the reason to be the originality.Saiko collaborates her performances with the World renowned artists such as Hans-Joachim Rodelius, who is known for the musical unit with Brian Eno, the master of the German contemporary music. Also, she performed with Wechel Garland, a German Electronic artist, for his Japan tour. The most recently, she appeared in the festival of the electronic music and the media art, "Sonar Sound Tokyo," that originates in Spain. In this festival, Saiko was raved for her collaborative unit "Saikoss," not only from the audience but also from the whole Spanish sound crew.Although her tiny hands are even smaller than those ..normal sizes of Japanese,.. Saiko..s stoic but Zen-like performance, from her fingers, has been keeping audience amazed. That, as an episode, was the reason why an art director from the famous "Hermes" tied his shoe lace on her wrist by himself as the only gift that he could possibly find after he was astonished by her performance. | |
