| THE GOLDEN ARMS -- A SHORT HISTORY: THE GOLDEN ARMS, as they are known now, started as THE REMAINS (1991-1996). When the STEPHEN'S QUINTS broke up (They 're play opened of NIKKI SUDDEN Tokyo show 1990) HIROSHI THE GOLDEN ARM (Lead Guitar & Lead Vocal) and TAMITO BLACKOUT (Drums)to form THE REMAINS in the summer of 1991. THE REMAINS were a Tokyo Underground Rock 'n' Roll Band ala JOHNNY THUNDERS and the DEAD BOYS - LORDS OF THE NEW CHURCH. The Lead Guitarist is affectionately referred to as the JAPANESE JOHNNY THUNDERS in the Tokyo Underground music scene. COZY STARDUST (Bass) joined the band Winter 1992. After many records and many show (played with JEFF DAHL, DEVIL DOGS, and many more R&R / PUNK / GARAGE bands) HIROSHI changed the band's name to THE GOLDEN ARMS. with the addition of SATOSHI SILVERS as another Guitarist and Backing Vocals. THE GOLDEN ARMS are constantly playing in and around Tokyo and have been the backing band for JEFF DAHL in 1994, who helped produced and engineer part of their CD - GIMME SOME LIPS (Hurtin' Records / 1998) - at DEVIL TREE STUDIO / Arizona, USA in 1997. THE GOLDEN ARMS played live show and recorded 1997-2000 with FREDDY LYNXX, KEVIN K BAND, Mr. RATBOY (SOUR JAZZ), TRASH BRATS, etc... recorded a single - TOKYO ROCKS (AOK Records / 1998) - with KEVIN K and RITCHIE RICHARD (ROAD VULTURES). also recorded part of EP -ORIENTAL JUNK SICK (Vicious Kitten Records / 2000) with KEVIN K and Mr. RATBOY. THE GOLDEN ARMS is one of the coolest bands in the world wide street glam trash punk rock 'n' roll scene!.
