| Angela was born and raised in Houston, Tx. The 27 year old female and her four older sisters began a sisters group named CS5, which was managed by their mother, and at the age of 17, the group released their first album entitled "It's Been a Pleasure" which was dedicated to their late father Charles L. Colter. CS5 opened for many artist such as Ce Ce Winans, Barbara Tucker, Kathy Taylor-Brown, Bo Williams, and Yolonda Adams. In 2004, after the former group became inactive, Angela began to write and record her own music. Stepping out as a solo artist was challenging considering the fact that Angela shared the stage with her sisters for many years. Hitting the scene as a solo artist, Angela was featured at the Gospel Show opening for Michelle Williams, John P. Kee and Trinitee 5:7. She opened for many speakers including Congresswoman Shelia Jackson Lee, Ada Edwards, Sylvestor Turner, and many more. Angela currently sings backgound for Trinitee 5:7 and Ron Summers, working with Music World Ent. where the manager is Mathew Knowles. Angela has also been blessed to work with other talented artist including Gary Mayes & New Era, Bo Williams, and Regina Belle. | |
