CHINA WHITE SERPENTINE - Wicked Pixel Cinema DYNASTY of DARKNESS - Axis Video JERSEY DEVIL DOCU - Axis Video VAMPIRES vs. ZOMBIES (CARMILLA) - Creepy Six Films DISARMED - Astral Pictures DEMON SLAUGHTER - 4th Floor Pictures GOREPHOBIA - Blood & Guts / Axis FEAR GIRLS X - Fear Film REALMS of BLOOD - Fear Film +++ A DEMON IS BORN +++ Bass player type individual gets pissed off at the East Coast music scene, scumbag promoters, cheap ass club owners, self-righteous backstabbing godsgift musicians mixed with the same ol same ol band problems (rehab, bail, court costs, girlfriends, junkies, dui checkpoints) unplugs himself from the live scene and in an egomaniacal anti-social fit locks himself away in an asylum of mp3 files, midi wires, lo-fi desires, songs that never were, and attempts to write music he cannot play and lyrics he cannot sing. After finding a technodustrial groove with his solo "Jonezin" project and being fortunate enough to continuously hit the top 10 on the mp3.com charts the Jonezin one set his sights on the film industry. Prompted by continuous media attention that often pitted his material into horror movie scenario -J dropped yet one step further into the darkness. -nightshade productions Demon music is a combination of free-form pieces and custom songs made specifically for film scores - running the gamut from dark solo instrumentals to full-on industrial orchestrations. These "film oriented" pieces have actually garnered more interest in the consumer market than any of -J's "commercial" music of the past decade. It seems there are many a tortured soul out there looking for a soundtrack to their shadowed existence - a place where words get in the way - and the mind strives on visualization. The demons have had the pleasure of working with the cream of the indie film producing crop and look forward to making the world a darker place to live each and every day. |
