Music:Member Since: 2/23/2005Band Website: sharpteeth.org Band Members: Sam plays bass and sings; Nick plays keyboard, guitar, and harmonica; Joe sings and plays guitar, banjo, and mandolin; Ben sings and plays guitar, mandolin, and singing saw. Noah plays fiddle and guitar now, too. All of us hit stuff with sticks. Other musicians include Emily, who plays trash can, and hopefully more to come. Influences: As a band, we are influenced by our friends and family who play music (even those who don't, really), as well as by several artists we do not know personally. Friendly/local folks include Re-Cognition , Bread and Roses, Jason Anderson, and many others. Other influences include Billy Bragg, Kind of Like Spitting, The Violent Femmes, Neutral Milk Hotel, Lightnin' Hopkins, Songs: Ohia, Clem Snide, Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, The Fog, Wilco, Beck, Iron & Wine, the Microphones, The Decemberists, Badly Drawn Boy, Mirah, and Phil Ochs, among others.
