About Me |

Enthusiastic about the radio show "electronics" on East German radiostation DT64 in the early nineties he started buying records and making music at the age of 14 by programming sounds with C64 and Amiga 500. In 1996 he co-founded the club project "Flugzeugwerft" with the typical flair of East German techno parties. It was one of the first big platforms for electronic club music in Dresden. He started live performing with Roland TR drummachines and some analogue synthesizers. In the final days of Flugzeugwerft in 1998 he founded the record label ETUI Records. Three releases and some years later he met Sören Matschiste. Together they reanimated the label ETUI Records in January 2006 and founded the project Insect & Matschiste. Over the years his sound has changed from deep detroit like techo to a kind of melodic minimal techno not only consisting of simple bleeps and bloops but also of emotional soundscapes. In his DJ sets he takes the people always on a tript through the wide range o electronic clubmusic. more information: www.etui-records.de |
