| My boring bio! My eyes are green! I am not! I love to play Neil Young, Bob Dylan & Gram Parsons songs! I play guitar for Workingman's Ed in the San Francisco Bay Area. We play electric dance music for Deadheads. The band is fronted by myself & Stu Allen who also plays with Melvin Seals & JGB. I also play with the band Ragged Glory and we do the pedal steel driven side of Neil & Gram. Stu and I also perform as an acoustic duo. I have a CD available direct through me if your interested of full band versions doing Bob Dylan and Neil Young songs. The CD features Barry Sless, a member of Phil Lesh & Friends as well as The David Nelson Band. Tracks include the Neil Young classics Ambulance Blues, Last Trip To Tulsa as well as the first ever studio release of a classic Young track Everybody's Alone. My middle years were spent at Ballard High in Louisville KY. I went to Ohio University in Athens Ohio. I lived in Chicago from 1985 to 1994 where I played a bunch of shows...like 600 of them... with the Deadbeats. We recorded two all original CD's. I saw a ton of Grateful Dead shows and spent the early 1980's on tour with them. I pretty much learned to play guitar in the parking lot of Grateful Dead shows.. I moved to California in 1994 to get closer to Jerry. I live in the Oakland hills where the sun is around a lot. I like getting to know nice people and performing live music. I am totally into team sports and like band's that operate that way. I have played a lot of hockey, lacrosse, and basketball. I love going to visit my family in North Carolina. My band Ragged Glory can be heard here doing live Neil Young & Gram Parsons tunes. I change songs here often so check back for more Ed & Ragged Glory, Stu & Pat, and solo stuff.
