| ToMi MaRc began his club career as a promoter for the former number 1 night spot in Australia (HEAT). After regularly attending the venue for a few years in which he established some great contacts he began persuing more involvement in his favourite club. Sunday was always his favourite night, and he finally landed a promoter spot. Almost at the same time he also started working the video camera for the club in the mainroom (which had a live-feed to a big screen in the room).
Working alongside one of the most recognised Dj's in Australia (Andy J aka Sgt Slick) was a great experience on its own. But it wasn't enough to keep him happy. His knowledge of music (especially trance) was insanely vast due to his impressive vinyl collection which he tried to update every few weeks to keep up with new releases.
One day he was skimming through some harder trance on his favourite italian label and decided to take in "Technoboy - Hardventure" to try it out on the crowd. From the first week his impeccable selection was a smash hit. Several weeks later this was followed by another from the same artist on the same label "Technoboy - Beauty and the beat". This record instantly destroyed the dancefloor and the impact was so great that it is still being played at venues such as Chasers. Several other records were also well recieved and he was shown alot of respect from his peers. Unfortunately Heat's closure was imminent. But the journey did not end there..
Since then ToMi has: worked briefly for Next Blue (Blue Sundayz), unofficially promoted Vinyl Voyage @ Mercury Lounge until its closure. Was part of the crew of Seduction Sundayz @ Chasers nightclub for almost a year (which included taking the club photos).
And now the journey has taken him to the Viper Room. Having had much success in the past in all he has done, he just recently began his club dj career at the Viper Room. His passion and determination will play a big part in the future as he begins his own track production.
