I was born in Ft. Huachuca, Arizona (U.S.A.), and have been living and working in The Netherlands since May, 1992. Besides the U.S. and The Netherlands, I have also lived and worked in Cambridge, England, and Dublin, Ireland. Other countries I have visited are Norway, Germany, France, Belgium and Luxembourg. My work

After graduating university, I worked for 14 years as a laboratory technician, in both research and diagnostics, in the U.S., England, and The Netherlands. I now work for one of the major academic research hospitals here in The Netherlands as a Quality Manager for a GMP-certified facility. This facility specializes in therapeutics, namely gene therapy and (stem) cell therapy. I am responsible for quality control and quality assurance, the maintenance of the facility and all of its equipment, and all the documentation, which I write in both Dutch and English.
