| Paolo Alberto Lodde a.k.a. Dusty Kid nasce nella prima metà degli anni '80 Dopo un infanzia da "bimbo prodigio" con gli studi al conservatorio muove i primi passi verso la musica elettronica con qualche sequencer e qualche synth fino a quando, a 18 anni, riesce ad attirare l 'attenzione del premiato duo Marascia-Kortezman, dai quali si fa produrre un primo singolo uscito su etichetta inglese Lowered Recordings . Grazie al sovracitato duo, viene notato da Stefano Noferini il quale lo vuole all interno della sua etichetta, con la quale collabora direttamente per circa un anno, pubblicando svariati singoli e remixes tra cui "The Summer Of Love" che raggiunge la top ten in Italia . Successivamente col collega Andrea Cruccu (aka Ferlin) da vita ad un progetto chiamato Duoteque i quali singoli usciti su freak'n'chic e su boxer recordings, vengono inseriti nelle playlist dei piu grandi dj mondiali del calibro di Richie Hawtin, Sven Vath e Magda per citarne alcuni,nonchè licenziati su compilation di etichette come Minus e Crosstown Rebels . Nel 2005 pubblica anche qualche singolo su Motivo e Molto Rec. e firma alcuni remixes tra cui quello per The Egg "Walkin Away", mentre il 2006 vede il progetto Duoteque richiesto nei clubs di tutto il mondo, cosi che il duo porta in giro il proprio sound con dei set che toccano Europa, Giappone e Australia . Attualmente oltre ad alcune date in Sudamerica e in Europa, sono previste alcune uscite su Systematic, Bpitch Control, Boxer,Motivo, Great Stuff e Kling Klong,Hooj Choons e Southern Fried, nonchè un altro rmx per The Egg, un uscita come Dusty Kid Vs Mason "Constant Rising" e un remix per lo stesso Mason per il follow up del suon celebre "Excideer". | |
