The World has discovered the cool vibe of Cooyah. "Established since life" It all started in 1987, when T-Shirt designer Homer Bair and Susan Kreitman met in Jamaica. Bair, educated at the School of Visual Arts and Parsons School of Design in New York, had noticed the world's growing love for Jamaica and was capitalizing on reggae related colors. The joining of Bair's design talent and Kreitman's keen business acument has proved to be a winning combination. Today, the team includes several gifted artists and marketing geniuses who were fascinated by the Cooyah mission of representing Jamaica's art, colorful history and unique reggae music through its fashions. Says Homer Bair: "We use art to create cultural fashion and our clothing is fun, trendy and funky! " My inspiration comes from seeing people. Each of our garments has a piece of our soul, and people can feel it." Designed and manufactured in Miami, Cooyah offers a collection of male and female T-Shirts, tank tops, hoodies, dresses, skirts, shorts, kinitted bikinis, knitted skirts, dress shirts, denim wear and more. We are also helping employees at an African company in Tanzania better their life through the production of shirts. |
