About Me
My toenails are always painted but never my fingernails, I love staying in bed all day especially if it’s raining or I have the company of a good book or someone interesting, I am attracted to peoples’ minds, I am perpetually late and usually don’t have a reason, if I had a sports car I would speed all the time, I prefer blue pens over black, Matt Berninger's voice has a surprising effect on me, I am not a morning person, I adore surprises but am practically impossible to truly surprise, I refuse to watch a movie if I haven’t read the book first, I can only sleep in the absolute dark, I laugh often and cry very rarely, unnecessary rudeness and close-minded judgmental people are my pet peeves, I am a lip gloss junkie, I can never have enough high heel peep toe shoes and I’ll dance in them all night and deal with the blisters later, if I’m upset I’ll tell you why and then let it go, if I’m wrong or I hurt you I will apologize and do my best to make amends, caffeine keeps me up all night, I am not your typical former Catholic school girl, challenge me - make me think - introduce me to something new, and I will be yours, I like middle of the night phone calls, I want to spend weeks upon weeks in Italy just relishing every experience, my honesty will surprise you, boring and routine might be my worst fears, I can talk to and get along with almost anyone and have a tendency to strike up conversations with people who look lonely or out of place or interesting, I have the most comfortable bed in the whole world, I would do anything for the people I care about, I give the best presents, if it were up to me I’d stay up all night and never wake up before noon, it bothers me when I can’t find the lyrics for music I like, I’m often unexpectedly sweet and thoughtful, I will tell you when I’m in a bad mood and you should leave me alone, almost nothing embarrasses me, I respect people who intelligently disagree with me, I am a book and music addict, I can be snarky, I crave new experiences, I don’t give up on people easily and sometimes I am too loyal, I lust equally over M.A.C. makeup and power tools, I love love love roller coasters, my affection comes quickly or not at all, moderation is not my strong suit, you will become addicted to my smile, I like to roll down the windows and turn the music all the way up when I’m alone in the car, I'm a great listener, philosophy fascinates me, inane rules bore me, new ideas excite me, I can tune out everything else when something captivates me, if I could go back in time I would love to go to the World’s Columbian Exposition of 1893, I abhor the cold but love Chicago despite it, I’m drawn to people that are different, I cannot eat if I don’t have anything to drink, I hate ketchup, I want to go back to Australia and scuba dive in the Great Barrier Reef, I love being with people but I can spend days at a time entertaining myself without ever getting lonely, I can be selfish with my space, if you ask me for something I will gladly and freely give it to you but if you demand or expect it I will dig in my heels, I lose my temper infrequently but it’s not pretty when I do, I think it takes too much wasted time and energy to stay mad or upset, if you ask I will answer honestly, I absolutely will not ever do the big white wedding thing, I probably overuse the word seriously, I am the world’s worst speller, I never say things I don’t mean, I’m a science geek, I could spend hours upon hours in museums, I get ridiculously annoyed by bad grammar, I can be logical to a fault, I hate text and email shorthand and will ridicule you for it or consider not writing back "I never ask a man what his business is, for it never interests me.
