| Surrender Monkeys were formed in 2001. We have developed a revolving door policy concerning people who contribute to the material. Mostly it's written and sung by me (Glenn) ... but, sometimes others take up the gauntlet or simply lend a hand. Currently we are not performing live, and as a band we are in a state of flux. Having said that, it has been a good year. We have finished work on an albums worth of material entitled "Manatee" (an album featuring 1 word song titles) as well as starting work on "Fame In The Fast Lane" (an album about various 'fame' related stories both fictional and non-fictional).
We don't have a record contract, and truth be known - I don't think I'm personally interested in one anymore. We love writing and recording music though - so with that in mind, all of our material is available for FREE download from our website (except the newer stuff which we're obviously still working on). http://surrendermonkey.co.uk Currently there are 4 songs on our myspace page, all of which are taken from the "Fame In The Fast Lane" album. Thankyou to the many people who have left kind words about the songs. After all, they are the important factor here and I am glad people like them.
