Made by Andrea MicheloniHi everyone, I'm Melinda, Melly, Mel, Momma, Madre or Ms Garrett, or Aunt Dolly, depending on your relationship to me. Christmas is my all time favorite holiday. I love everything about it...the lights, the cards, the change in peoples' attitudes, giving gifts, hot chocolate and apple cider, the music and even the movies. And, yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. With that said, I guess I'm a big kid at heart. After all,I am STILL pretending I am 39 years old, even though I of course know better! One of my hobbies is actually working as an auditor at Six Flags part-time. Other than that, I am just a regular,routine, witty, mostly mature,divorced,redhead,special education school teacher,mom,daughter,Christian and friend in Dallas, Texas (not in that order). To be more specific, I'm in Oak Cliff (everybody shudder in fright) and STILL alive. I have high hopes of hanging on a good 51 more years, if I have my say in the matter. I'm sure that I've become a work-a-holic somewhere along the way, just not sure when or how. I am working on my Master's degree in Special Education through an online program with Grand Canyon University out of Phoenix, AZ (Go Antelopes), so eventually I can get certified (as opposed to certifiable),to become an Educational Diagnostician. Yippee! I've become an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church and all my friends there are a blessing to me. I've been a Dallas Cowboy fan forever, but I must admit even I've gotten frustrated with 'em a few times over the years. I also love love love movies and reading, and get energized by walking. My sometimes comic relief is PCW Wrestling in Arlington. Last but not least, I think it's time to have a little fun, meet some interesting and interested friends, and reconnect with ones I've possibly lost touch with. By the way, I'm on myspace primarily to keep up with "all my children"... my biological daughter Monica, a niece and nephew in Comfort, Mon's friends I've adopted that call me Momma or Madre, my one time baby boss Jonathon, plus Kathy, Cynthia, Azalia & AJ who really fit in no category except I feel connected to them, a few adopted grandchildren, plus former students. The important "kids" in my life, past & present are my TOP friends on here and are in my thoughts and prayers daily! Check 'em out below! I love you all! Vaya con Dios!
