SQY Rocking Team, formerly known as Sequoyah, is a four piece rock band from Bergeijk, Noord Brabant (Holland). SQY Rocking Team play hard metal glam-rock n roll that finds its roots in the 70s and 80s. SQY are known for their energetic live shows and stage performances, and they played hundreds of gigs in Holland as well as abroad. In their impressive career they shared stages with famous international bands and played on several renowned festivals (Bospop 2005 en Arrow Rock Festival 2006). In 2004 they released their fourth, very well received, full length cd Full Throttle. The release of the new cd Top Fuel Tendencies is planned for September 2006, and continues the Full Throttle music style in which lots of guitars are combined with melodic harmonies. To announce the release of Top Fuel Tendencies, SQY released a teaser single with special radio edits of the songs Punk Rock Skunk en Overdrive.
