| Andy is dead Andy is a dead man walking who, despite his name, enjoys all of the aspects of life. Andy’s played guitar since 1998 but he’s not as good as you’d expect because he’s frightening lazy :P Nevertheless he had the chance to play with quite a few bands, getting into various projects ranging from Hard Rock to Alternative Rock to Electro-Rock. His most remarkable experience was with the Swiss Alternative Rock band called Plain: he was with them when they published their debut album “Different Not Strange” at the beginnig of 2008. He decided to quit the band in order to pursue his growning career as FOH (Front Of House) sound engineer. In fact, he’s a sound-wise guy who's had many experiences throughout the years he spent on the road, where he learned little by little what a proper sound is and how to obtain it, regardless of the band or the equipment used. He states that doing sound is a matter of creating a colorful bright image in one’s mind and then delivering it to the House, and that technical skills and equipment used are just means to achieve the expected result. Needless to say there aren’t many sound guys of his caliber around. Believe it or not, the choice is yours. Andy is pushing himself to learn to play as many instruments as possible, because of his believing: “Knowing how a sound is generated will help you to much better understand how to capture every nuance of it.” Andy started DJing recently, trying to bring some fresh air around.
