| I am a loyal, honest, respectful, easy going person and at times I can be very corny...I love to laugh and make people laugh. Once I am comfortable around others, I can be pretty silly or I can be really quite and just be an observer/people watcher. Some people would say that I can be nosey and granted at times I can be, I just genuinely like to learn about people and what makes them them. I love LOVE and being in a relationship, being devoted and dedicated to someone. Sometimes it takes trials & tribulations to figure out what you really want but in the end, everything falls into place.
This past year I have learned that rejection isn't about you as much as it is about what someone else wants and them not thinking you can give it to them. I also learned that being vulnerable and completely honest makes life so much easier, though it isn't always easy because you are most likely going to be the only one to put yourself out there but it just becomes easier and easier...like a way of life but I also realize that not everyone can handle honesty, unless it is what they want to hear, so not everyone appreciates it. The most important thing that I have learned is that GOD is REALLY REALLY GREAT and that all you have to do is believe, have faith and give it all to him and he will take care of you and lead you down the right path...God ALWAYS has a plan for you, even when you don't. |

I'd like to meet:I REALLY love the person I am with and look forward to spending the rest of my life with him...if it is in God's plan for me, if not I am thankful for whatever reason he is in my life...I know he was sent for a reason. So, I am not looking to meet anyone to date or get to know on that level, though I do like meeting people and trying to figure what folks are all about. Music:I love music...R&B, neo soul, hip hop, rap, 70's & 80's music. I grew up on hip hop, so I will always have a love for it, no matter how old I get. And even though I can't understand all of it...I love Mariachi music, especially the all female Mariachi groups.One of my favorite artist is Mary J. Blige, I have much love and admiration for this woman...I feel like I have grown right along with her.I really love the generation that I grew up in; when hip hop was just starting up and they said it wouldn't last, when we had to go to AM to hear K-DAY, when R & B folks could acutally sing (ok there are a few out there now that can)for example, this guy...Robin Thicke |

Books:Ok, I like to read and read as much as I can when time permits. I always try to read the Bible but I am not as consistent as I would like to be. One of my favorite books is The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield, after reading it, it changed the way I think and made me look harder at why things happen and why people come into my life. |

Heroes:GOD, because even though I was short on faith,he has never given up on me and I know he is about to bless me in abundance. My dearest friends and family because at one time or other, they have rescued me in my time of need. David, he has been my love, friend, protector, provider, teacher, student, my shoulder to lean on and at times my very own Superman. For all he has sacraficed of himself I am a better person, not just for me but for others as well. I will be FOREVER grateful.
