| The music of Umegaoka (ooh-may-gah-oh-ka) is 100% live and improvised. Instruments are guitars, analogue synthesizers and drums (not on all tracks).This first release, "333 meters high," was recorded over a period of 4 years and includes a variety of ethereal ambiences, complex electronic harmonies, and massive crescendoes.All performances took place at various locations in Tokyo, Japan. No overdubbing or after-recording additions to the tracks were made, only sound mastering, in order to maintain the live, honest and pure feeling of the original moments of recording. | |
