DJ KIYO (ROYALTY PRODUCTION) Born in Tokyo. DJ / PRODUCER / ROYALTY PRODUCTION LABEL CHIEF Started off his DJ career in early 90's. An originator and innovator who explores possibilities in new styles of mixing future and past from underground viewpoint. Collaborated with COMMON, THE BEAT JUNKIES, TOWA TEI, TONY TOUCH, KEV BROWN, GRAP LUVA, RODDY ROD, JURASSIC 5, PASEROCK (FIVE DEEZ), BOBBITO, LONE CATALYSTS , BOTANICA DEL JIBARO crew , MASEO (DE LA SOUL) , BIRDY NAM NAM (FRANCE) , MOODYMANN , DJ DEZ'ANDRES' (DETROIT) , SLUM VILLAGE... KIYO's all-round DJ style has influenced many people listening to any kind of music genre. His regularly released mixtapes show his outstanding skills and multi- talent, which breaks into new potential. All of his products are sold out at each limited releases. He's often characterized as a HIP HOP oriented but also a wide-ranged track-maker. KIYO's currently working on his next release. ROYALTY PRODUCTION A label founded by DJ KIYO and his crew in 1997, which released more than 15 titles of DJ mix series. It's been attracting all club music fans. It's renowned for its label power in the underground music scene, especially DJ KIYO's mixtape series which has loyal fans in DJs, rappers and music critics. It's a production team which produces not only music, but also latest music life style on street itself. |
