About Me |

Since I was a little boy I've made music. I started with recorders at the age of five... I played the guitar and bass in a school-band with my classmates and when I grow up I learnt viola da gamba and cornetto curvo and some other historical woodwinds. I played renaissance and baroque music in several groups till I discovered medieval music. In 1990 I joined Corvus Corax where I played bagpipes and shawm for more than 15 years. I'd played the bagpipes as well in the medieval-industrial-rock-band Tanzwut . I decided to quit playing music when I had heard and seen PRIMORDIAL the first time at Summer Breeze Festival in 2004. Some private reasons came along... Now I work at Pica Music record label, that's the label where Tanzwut and Corvus Corax releases their music... beside my work I go in for photography, writing the Spielmannsblog reading and listen to good music ;-) Sitting at the balcony with my laptop and smoking a pipe is great self-fulfillment |
