| Candy Store was founded in Kragujevac,Serbia in 2001.The first line-up played blues standards and had no original songs. In 2003 ,the members of the band left their town to go to university,and the band quit. In late 2005, they reformed again to work on the original material,and significally changed their music style.The band has a new line-up now,and is preparing the first LP. The band is as influenced by Hendrix and Queens of the Stone Age as by Miles Davis and A Perfect Circle or Frank Zappa and RATM. The sound of the band is huge,loud ,warm ,fuzzy,groovy,melodic and sometimes psychedelic. The line-up consists of guitar,bass,drums and voice.The first Candy Store’s EP is called RADIOPASSIVE and is released on independent SILICON BRAIN RECORDS label August 1, 2007. Feel Free to download its tracks at our myspace page!In the autumn of 2007, we also released a lo-fi collection of our early bootlegs (2001/02.) called TOUGH STUFF when we were still shitty high school kids, but played the blues with anger, attitude and passion.
