Irie Vibrations is a weekly two hour radio show, dedicated to showcasing some of the best in roots, reggae and dub. Hosted by long time reggae collector and fan, Dale M Wimberly every Friday night. Scanning the history of Jamaican music from early days of ska , recorded at such studios as Studio One and Treasure Isle to the heavyweight sounds of the Revolutionaries at Channel One. ............................................................ ............................................................ .......... Orginally started in 1999, by Eric Bucky Morris, Irie Vibrations has always been a great source for crucial reggae rhythms each and every Friday night. Handed over to friend Dale M Wimberly in the summer of 2003, he has kept the vibes and spirit alive, offering a wide range of Jamaican culture. Dale is a big fan of older reggae (early 70's to mid 80's), but still mixes in newer conscious acts such as Midnite, Army and Dizarie.
