BLACKLIST BIOGRAPHY ENGLISH Blacklist was formed in Madrid, Spain at the end of 2005, when Alex Cappa met Carlos Calero and they decided to start their project. In 2006 Jorge Ballesteros and Eduardo del Álamo joined the band, and that..s the final lineup. Current Lineup: Alex Cappa – Vocals / Rhythm and Lead guitars Carlos Calero - Drums Jorge Ballesteros – Bass In February 2006 they played their first show at “Ritmo y Compás” (Madrid) getting a great support from the crowd and press. After playing all along the capital city, they prepared 6 songs for their debut “Bleed to Death” recorded in one of the best studios of Madrid called “Jardín Paramétrico” “Bleed to Death” is nowadays out in stores from the 1st of May 2007 all along Spain, and through their web worldwide. The EP became a complete success due to its high quality sound, songwriting and for its awesome edition with a full colour 8 pages booklet. On April 2nd they came back to studio for recording a 3 songs Maxi-Single at Ritmo & Compas Studio called “Amendment of Hate” a pure construction of Thrash & Death Metal reinforced with a wall of forcefulness. At the end of 2007 the band signed with the Spanish Promoter “BlackRose Productions” which works in Spain and in whole Europe and co-headlining THRASH INVASION FESTIVAL along Spain sharing stage with the best bands of our country. On February 1st Blacklist will join forces with Sweden..s DECADENCE on his Spanish Tour. At present we are searching for label which bets for a pure and unadulterated Thrash Metal. Keep on reporting! BLACKLIST BIOGRAFÍA CASTELLANO Blacklist se funda en Madrid, España en el año 2005, cuando Alex Cappa, contacta con Carlos Calero y deciden iniciar el proyecto. Mas tarde en 2006 se unirían Jorge Ballesteros y Eduardo del Alamo, en lo que sería la formación definitiva. Formación Actual: Alex Cappa – Guitarra / Voz Carlos Calero - Bateria Jorge Ballesteros – Bajo En febrero de 2006, realizan su primer concierto en "Ritmo y Compás" que fue culminado con una gran expectación y buenas críticas por parte de la prensa asistente. Después de realizar numerosos conciertos, en Agosto de 2006 comienzan la grabación de su primer EP "Bleed to Death". en los estudios "El jardín Paramétrico", formado por 6 temas y con muy buenas críticas de los principales webzines del país. En Mayo de 2007 Blacklist regresa al estudio, esta vez en los conocidos estudios “Ritmo y Compas”, para grabar “Amendment of Hate” un Maxi-Single que contiene 3 de las nuevas composiciones del grupo en las que se puede apreciar la evolucion y madurez del sonido conjunto de la banda. A finales de 2007 el grupo entra a formar parte del Roster de la promotora “Blackrose Producciones” con la que pasan a formar parte en el cartel como co-headliners de la gira nacional THRASH INVASION que se celebrará en 2008 por todo el pais acompañando a bandas nacionales de renombre como Angelus Apartida, Legend Beltza, Killem y Omission. En febrero 2008 Blacklist comparte cartel con la banda Sueca de Thrash Melódico “DECADENCE” en su primer concierto de la gira española “Spain Invasión Tour“ A corto plazo Blacklist sigue presentando sus dos trabajos en busca de una Discográfica que apueste por un Thrash Metal renovado y muy dinámico, con influencia de los clásicos de los ..80 y de las nuevas corrientes del New School Europeo. |
