About Me
GIRLY MYSPACE CURSORS! Hey! I'm Victoria. Welcome to my page. This page is my own personal profile profile as well as a place I'd like to inspire others. I hope to change the world in whatever ways I can. When I'm older I am going to be an OB/GYN. I think it's a very important job to have because not only are you helping one person at a time, but two...sometimes more. I also want to encourage people to not be embarrassed to go to the doctors.I'll tell you a little about myself. Well, about 5 years ago (or as long as I could remember) I began getting pain in my back and neck. They bothered me but I really wasn't limited as to the things I could do. I don't even remember if I had seen a doctor about it. I just lived like that.A few years later I got recurring strep throat. I got it every month for about 10 months in a row. It was horrible. That was unexplained too, but this time I went to an Ear, Nose, Throat doctor who had out me on allergy medecine which seemd to clear the strep up.That same year at my ice-skating birthday I fell backwards and hit my head on the ice. I blacked out. I went to the ER and was told that I got a mild concussion. They didn't even do any x-rays or CTs or anything which now surprises me. I'm even a little mad. I was just so young that I didn't even know to ask.Over the past year I have been getting more and more symptoms and feel horrible 90% of my day. It's just really bad. I have been going to doctor after doctor and going to different therapies. The doctors never know what is wrong with me. And at this point, they are giving up on me. They are saying that it is 'all in my head'. My own parents don't even believe me. They think I'm Hypocondriac. But I know that what I am feeling is real and I am determined to figure this our no matter what challenges come my way.I have been doing a lot of research trying to figure out what is wrong with me. One day I was reflecting some of the blood tests that I had taken when Lyme Disease came up. I kept on getting tested and there must have been a reason. I talked to people who have the disease and know more about it that most doctors. Literally. I am 100% convinced that I have it. The only thing is that my Lyme tests keep coming back negative. I am going to find a way, somehow, to get my mom to take me to a Lyme doctor. I have a lot more begging ahead of me. But hope is what is keeping me going. If it wasn't for hope then I wouldn't be on the way to figuring out what's wrong. I think it is so important to always have hope no matter who you are and what situation you are in.This is a place to recieve and give hope, strength, and advice. Feel free to share your stories.
