Music:I get the most satisfaction from a trad jazz trio (sax, bass, drums) I perform with every Thursday night at the Trinidad Brewing Co. We play Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Horace Silver, Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, etc. compositions. The genre gives me the most freedom of expression, and thus, provides the greatest soil for my growth. It's the genre I'm playing most often, so it's good I find it satisfying.A huge "THANK-YOU" to Jeff and Brian for our current nine-month run at TBC!!!My collaboration with the awesome guitarist, Jug Colangelo (Jason White), the multi-talented (saxes, keyboards) Clevon Sostand, and pro drummer Bo Seawell, (all of the Planet O Band) is huge fun - I always end up dancin' while I'm playing with you guys...only Time will tell where we go.Look for us playing in your home-town as The Sunnyside Ups.Perhaps the most dynamic of my musical efforts is yet to manifest with the stupendously gifted vocalist,Janice Horn.Gigging currently as LFL (with guitarist, vocalist, Kevin Crosby) there is no telling where the power and energy of this woman's voice may lead...it's exciting! |
