Patti was born on an RAF base in Odiham, near Basingstoke, Hampshire. After two years there, her parents moved to Hordle, near New Milton, Hampshire where Patti attended school. Although neither of her parents were musicians, there was always music playing in the house while Patti was growing up, and she started taking piano lessons at the age of seven. She used to enjoy singing along while she played piano, but at this point never imagined she would work within the entertainment industry. At the age of fifteen, Patti developed a passion for acting, which she then went on to study. She started singing in order to get her Equity card, to enable her to work professionally as an actress. She worked with various bands in the South of England, and she also started to get acting roles in commercials and on television. She also started working as a solo pianist/vocalist. Patti decided to move to London (where she has worked ever since), to see where that would lead. More TV work followed and a variety of singing work started to build up. Patti's versatility has enabled her to build a good reputation within a broad range of the entertainment industry. Known for her acting talent, as well as her vocal ability, she has performed all over the world, in such places as New York, Boston, Atlanta, Pennsylvania, China, India, Bali, Greece, Turkey, Spain, Italy, France, Dubai, Cannes, Nice, Monte Carlo, Switzerland, Portugal, plus many more! Patti's singing career has been incredibly diverse. Known for singing soul, rock, r'n'b, and pop, she has also sung dance music aimed the the British Music Industry Charts, and jazz in many prestigious venues throughout Europe. She is also known as a competent backing vocalist, having worked with many household names. Patti has performed for The Queen, Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Sting, Gloria Estefan, Joan Collins, Telly Savalas, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones, Brian May and Ben Elton (Patti's Quintet played for the cast party of "We Will Rock You"), Rod Stewart, plus loads more! Known in her own right as a solo recording artiste, Patti has had singles in the Dance Music Charts, and is regularly used as a session singer for various albums and Film Soundtracks. Patti is often asked to appear as a guest vocalist for various events, including Film Premieres and opening night parties for West End shows. She also has her own band (THE PATTI REVELL QUINTET), and they appear at various venues throughout the UK. Patti performs worldwide, and has sung in many famous venues including The Royal Albert Hall, Ronnie Scott's Club, The Royal Festival Hall, The Barbican, The House of Commons, The 100 Club and The Royal Opera House. Patti has sung with Meat Loaf, Matt Bianco, The Brand New Heavies, Sam Brown, Sheila Ferguson, and has performed alongside Whitney Houston, Sir Elton John, Sir Cliff Richard, Sister Sledge, Jools Holland, Jonathan Ross, Graham Norton, Hamish Stuart, Jimmy Carr, and Edwin Starr, to name just a few! Patti is a sought after Vocal Coach and has helped many professional singers. She is often asked to take Vocal Workshops at such places as The Academy of Contemporary Music, is part of the Vocal Team coaching for The Vocal Authority run by Dave Laudat ( TV's "X Factor" Vocal Coach), and gives one to one Private Tuition. If a pig loses it's voice, is it disgruntled? Do infants enjoy infancy as much as adults enjoy adultery? If love is blind, why is lingerie so popular? No one ever says "It's only a game" when their team is winning. Why are a wise man and a wise guy opposites? It is impossible to lick your elbow. If lawyers are disbarred and clergymen defrocked, doesn't it follow that electricians can be delighted, musicians denoted, cowboys deranged, models deposed, tree surgeons debarked, a prostitute delayed, and dry cleaners depressed? You can never have too many friends .........or shoes! Honey is the only food that doesn't spoil. Why is the man who invests all your money called a broker? When cheese gets it's picture taken, what does it say? What hair colour do they put on the driver's licenses of bald men? You never really learn to swear until you learn to drive. Why isn't the number 11 pronounced onety one? Isn't having a smoking section in a restaurant like making a peeing section in a swimming pool? If 4 out of 5 people suffer from diarrhea, does that mean that the other one enjoys it? If someone with a split personality threatens to commit suicide, is it a hostage situation? Can you cry under water? If people evolved from apes, why are there still apes? How many of you have tried to lick your elbow?!! Money talks ..... but chocolate sings! Sounds Like: A lazy sunday afternoon, eating ice cream in the sun, whilst sipping a long, cool beverage, listening to children's laughter with a general air of merriment. Along comes a hot and heavy thunderstorm, followed by torrential rain, a lightening strike and a run for cover! Out comes the sun again, the air smells fresh and all is well. Type of Label: None |
