First full length techno album by Alexey Gordiyenko called "12". Each track is the techno interpretation of each month of the year from december till november. Released by "Radio Record" label in Russia. Codename Guard is the 'alter ego' of Alexey Gordiyenko, electronic musician & DJ from Odessa, Ukraine. The first steps in writing of electronic music Alex did in 2001 strongly influenced by his beloved electronic music of 80's and 90's. He names himself Codename Guard in 2005 and Alexey considers that moment to be the beginning of his musical career. At the end of 2005 Alexey started to learn how to spin by himself and in the beginning of 2006 he had first perfomances as a DJ in the local club "Facktura". Further gigs followed in Odessa, Lvov, Nikolaev (Ukraine). In the summer of 2006 Alex creates 3 demo-tracks in styles of tribal & detroit-techno. These tracks served the basis for foundation of his new project called "Odessa Soundfreaks". After some time Odessa techno-deejay Andrey Smoroda aka Ray Spirit joins this project. Together they create plenty of high-quality tracks, mixing up styles of Tribal-, Detroit- and Electro- Techno, labour for the individual sound. On the state of May, 2008 their compositions are already signed on such labels as Yin Yang, TechHead, Audionautica, techment, *Cutz, Butterfly Effect, Corrupted, Eighty Eight, Toyfriend Music. Whebba, Pedro Delgardo, Pratap, Ignition Technican, Martyn Hare, Josh Love & Matt 303, Jamie Taylor, Steve Payne, Balthazar & JackRock, Greg Kobe and Chris Zimmer have made the remixes on Odessa Soundfreaks' tracks. His tracks are played by such artists like Carl Cox, Dave Clarke, Eddie Halliwell, D.A.V.E. The Drummer, Aaron Liberator, Pedro Delgardo, Vortechtral, Jamie Taylor (UK), Josh Love (France), Whebba (Brazil), Spiros Kaloumenous (Greece), Vitamin D, Dylan Drazen (USA), Reaky (Slovenia), C-System (Spain) and many others. Alex constantly develops and doesn't stand on one place. Now he keeps writing tracks for Odessa Soundfreaks, not forgetting about individual art, in which he creates not fast but very melodic and energetic electronic-flavoured Deep Techno and Tech House tracks and of course his favorite style - Electro-Techno with EBM flavour. His DJ-sets Alex performs under the pseudonym of Codename Guard, playing mainly Electro-Techno and EBM-like techno, groovy techno, and also uses his own musical works in these styles. In 2007 he runs with Odessa DJ's Booch and Mirman series of parties reviving electro-tech style called "Digital Kids". The story continues...
