I am caught up in a story that begins with me being awakened to an invitation from the Creator of the universe, to play an essential role in His story...of "Thy Kingdom Come on Earth As It Is in Heaven." It is exciting, intense, costly, heart wrenching. The bitter taste of sorrow only heightens the experience of what true joy can be. There is no fear to feel and experience a life to the fullest and all that has to offer. Heroes:My husband...for choosing to love me through good times and bad, through sickness and health...for pursuing me and fighting for my heart...for being that tangible picture of how God sees me and loves me as His bride! His willingness to lay down his life to go after and fight for other's hearts and to show them the truth of God's love for them and set them free! My daughter Skye (age 17)...for her courage in walking in who she is and venturing to discover all that God has in store for that intensity...while allowing the sometimes painful guidance of her parents to take place. My son Andrew (age 9)...believing at such an early age what God has showed him about his calling and walking with an unshattered confidence as a mighty warrior. My son Casey (age 8)...for his wisdom beyond his years and his spirit led intuition which he trusts without doubt and will act on to save another. My son Taron (age 6)...for his fierce passion for God and people's hearts...he is already willing and ready to lay down his life for even you. My dad...for being a Godly man...no matter what happens in life always coming back to and/or striving to do his Father's will. My mom...for not aborting me at age 14...her courage in having/raising three kids while only a kid herself. My grandma...for her servants heart. I was pregnant and homeless once and had not eaten for 10 days...she knew I was hungry and followed her gut...she fed me before I could say no and I didnt have to ask...it is that unconditional kindness and insight that has pierced my life forever. |
