| Call me "Mulder"! I joined the Bureau at age 28 after having received a degree in psychology from Oxford University. My FBI Academy monograph on the link between serial killers and the occult (1988) led to me spending three years as a profiler with the Behavioral Science Unit. I was nicknamed "Spooky" for my insistent belief in the paranormal.Hypnotic-regression therapy resulted in my belief that the mysterious childhood abduction of my younger sister "Samantha" was perpetrated by extraterrestrials. This belief, along with my downward career trajectory resulted in my requesting assignment to "The X-Files". When I began a more active series of investigations, The Syndicate attached an observer, FBI Special Agent "Dana Scully", as my partner, whom i felt a certain attraction to for the past nine years.Covert surveillance on me was conducted through Syndicate enforcer C.G.B. Spender a.k.a. "The Cigarette-Smoking Man", using a variety of associates that included "Alex Krycek", "Marita Covarrubias", "X", and "Deep Throat".In 2000, near Bellefleuer, Ore., I was taken aboard a spaceship controlled by the shapeshifters. After some months, I was found evidently dead in a field near Helena, Mont. Buried without embalming (as is traditional in my Jewish faith), I was later exhumed and resurrected through alien means. I eventually recovered from my ordeal and briefly returned to active duty in the FBI.I then disappeared of my own volition, turning up in 2002 at the Mount Weather military base in Bluemont, Va., where I was arranged to "kill" a virtually indestructible alien-hybrid supersoldier, "Knowle Rohrer". I was put on trial to gather witnesses and definitively survey what information my many and varied associates possessed. I was allowed to escape the base with Scully. Through leads, we then confronted "C.G.B. Spender" at an Anasazi Indian site near the Texas-New Mexico border.Scully and I are currently classified as fugitives. | |
