About Me |
|
| Dry Bones strike a balance between rootsy, backporch hoedown throwdowns and carefully-constructed pop gems. Longtime friends Jerry Hammack and Rod Moody have supported and contributed to each other's musical endeavors for over 10 years. They have long considered combining their talents into a new project, and with Dry Bones, they have finally succeeded. In addition to Dry Bones, Jerry is the force behind enigmatic NW studio legends Throttle Body (since 1991, "the band that never was"), while Rod also plays in ex-Sub Pop "coulda beens" Swallow and garage/blues demons Green Handshake . The four songs you hear on this page were recorded in Rod's living room in the summer of 2006. We hope you like them! |
