Kid Bombardos, un type qui cognait fort et savait encaisser. Un type qui dansait sur le ring, faisait voler ses poings comme des papillons et vous cueillait d'un uppercut au menton. Un puncheur et un styliste. En hommage à cet arrière-grand-père boxeur, Kid Bombardos, à l'origine, c'est trois frangins et leur pote fous de musique. Autant dire que le groupe existe depuis toujours. Des instrumentaux d'abord puis des compos avec chant depuis décmbre 2005. Les gamins de Kid Bombardos ont grandi au son du Velvet, des Stones, des Jesus and Mary Chain, des Strokes...Depuis leur premier concert en Juin 2006, ils dépoussièrent avec classe le Rock n' Roll de leurs aînés. Thomas Martinelli, 21 ans, tient la basse. Vincent Martinelli, 18 ans est à la guitare, au clavier et au chant. Simon Martinelli, 16 ans à la batterie. David Loridan à la guitare, au clavier et aux, choeurs. Kid Bombardos knew how to hit hard and withdraw... He was a guy, who danced through the boxing ring and raised his fits in the air. A guy, who could blow his opponent with a powerful uppercut to the chin. A puncher and a designer. Kid Bombardos – the band is a tribute to this grand-grand-father / boxer, consisting of three bros and their mate. All three are crazy about music. You might as well say, this band has always existed. The KB teenagers grew up in Bordeaux listening to the Velvet, the Stones, the Jesus and Mary Chain, and the Strokes… Since their first gig in June 2006, they’ve “rekideate” their ancestors’ Rock’n Roll with classy a bomb. Thomas Martinelli, 21, holds the bass. Vincent Martinelli, 18, sings as well as plays guitar and keyboard. Simon Martinelli, 16, performs as the drummer. David Loridan masters guitar, keyboard, and backing vocals. |
