| I love playing and listening to music. My background is classical music, upright bass. I played in a rock band with two of my brothers for many years. We covered ELP, Yes, Deep Purple, The Doors, Traffic, Zeppelin, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Allman Brothers, Jethro Tull, Genesis and others (Beatles).
In NYC at college I played in a Bluegrass band, a jazz trio, DC funk band. I listened to Pere Ubu, Television, Devo, Roxy Music, Talking Heads, Patty Smith, Brian Eno, Robert Fripp, Peter Gabrial. Currently I play with Root's in the Sand, Frozen Head and the Squirrels, 9:58, Aquarium, Little Kings, Brian Lee Presey. I stay current with popular and obscure bands that rock. I love the Outer Banks music scene. It's like a family of great musicians.
