| Representantes de una cultura inminente: La Afro-Cubana. La música que nos traen es una mezcla de Rumba, Guaguanco, timba e historia de sus raÃces. Cuando la cultura Africana llega a Cuba a través de los esclavos, se produce una sinergia entre estos y los propios cubanos que da lugar a lo que hoy conocemos como esencia Afro-Cubana. En un esfuerzo por mantener vivas ambas culturas nos vemos ante el nacimiento de una tercer cultura rica en elementos y sabores: nueva raza, nuevo idioma pero sobretodo un nuevo nivel de expresión musical. De este proceso nacen los integrantes de este grupo, ellos portan, viven y sienten esta herencia. Por eso son ‘Los Herederos.’ | |
