Music:Member Since: 9/3/2006Band Website: morrigan.org Band Members: Balor - Drums Beliar - Guitars and Vocals Sounds Like: This is an official page. Back in 1992 two Bathory fans came together to form a band. A year followign they would record a demo called, "Son of Dawn", and promotape in 94'. They would support eh Sons of Northern Darkness tour before entering the studio to record an Ep called "Cynthraw". Their third demo was recorded in 96'. After playing some more gigs, the members split up in May of 1997. This all happened under the name Mayhemic Truth. Soon after their demos were rereleased as a whole called, "In Memorium". In the year 2000, Balor and Beliar would come together once more, thus forming Morrigan. their first cd recorded was Plague, Waste and Death. They would later through the years release "Enter the Sea of Flames" in April of 02', Celts, a split with Nocturnity, and Headcult. During September of 03', one of their members, Baldur would depart from the group. In these years they would part from their record label and work under their own independent source, known as Horns of Cernunos Production. their most recent release would be distributed through Undercover Records. This full length cd has been titled Welcome to Samhaim. Their most recent album The Damned was released back in April of 2008. Record Label: Undercover Records Type of Label: Indie |
