::: COMING SOON ::: "Hi..My name is Brian Vassallo and i was born and grew up on the island of MALTA,located in the mediterranean sea. I’m a Musician,Composer & Producer and i use the internet alot for my work and to interract with my fans! .This site is about my music, news and me-related merchandise - if you’re not that familiar with who I am and what I do, i invite you to just listen to my music! And for more about myself please continue to read....... I was about eight and ten years of age when i remmember my first touches on my cousin's piano. From there on i continued to carry that passion with me even if the whole picture of what was to develop later on was at the early stages and that maybe i was not even yet aware of where i would arrive as well........ Time continued to move on and so did i along with it, taking with me at the same time my first early inspirations. Since i was a child i had this passion as well imprinted in me i guess,the thirst for everything related to the cosmos ,all that was related to Sci-Fi..etc.. And so it happened that i started searching and to grab all that was related to this subject,from magazines to ..aries,TV to Movies.etc....... And so it was between the age of 10 and 16 when i started to enter into sound more profoundly by making my first steps of experimentation.......for example by moving the knob of my radio set for example and by listening to the sound of the changed tones of the frequencies,which fascinated me.And so i was starting to be curious into sounds more deeply........... During this period of time in my life i started to be captivated by the first synthesiser sounds that i was listening to, to the music of the 70's Like Gary Wright's music,from the 80's with artist's such as The 'Art of noise','Propaganda','Pet shop boys','Visage','OMD','Jan Hammer',the italo disco music as well ,but also some pop..etc.. But then i guess the begining for me to create music was awakened when i watched for the first time a Jean Michel Jarre concert with all those synthesizers and sounds coming from them, A spectacle of sounds,lasers ,fireworks and music everything synchronized together....Something i have to say ,i have never seen before at that time. And so at around 17 years old i baught my first synthesizer, a YAMAHA DX-11. In the meantime i continued to listen to electronic music which continued to attract me with its sounds,styles,sequences and moods.. Motion Pictures where an important source for me for creativity as well,from the atmospheric sound and soundtrack that i was hearing in motion pictures fantasticly changing the feel of the whole picture... with music from artists such as 'Hans Zimmer' ,'Trevor Horn' , 'Ennio Morricone' ,'Giorgio Moroder','Herald Faltemeyer' and many others....... The 90's arrived and i met the german techno.....'Sven Vaeth'.......'Westbam'.......'Paul Van Dyke', 'Cosmic Baby'..and others .Artists amongst many others of what i was listening to at that time and still am..... In 1998 with my modest bedroom midi studio ,with just three synthesizers to create sounds from and with an amiga computer,i therefore finally decided to translate all my inspirations from all those years that i carried with me from images,TV,movies,people,artists, the passion for the cosmos....therefore all this conveyed by using my synths and to therefore translate all this into my first music project with the title: 'BEYOND'. Beyond was to be a theme on the mystery of the cosmos.A tribute perhaps to my now very long known passion that accompanies me during my life. Titles like "Are We Alone?", Where Are We Going?" Titles which all speak for themselves accompanied by sounds and moods specially created with passion coming within me for this huge mystery! In 1999 the album was released locally and on the internet with critical acclaim, With reviews in newspapers and online internationally. In this same year i was also very pleased when i was approached by Mr.Ruben Zahra asking me to use my music from this album, for the new year's eve festivities held locally in 1999.......... In 2001 my second album was produced and while not completely like the style of atmospheric space music like "BEYOND", i still wanted to maintain and transmit that chill-out ,ambient mood mixed with a much more ryhthmic style this time. Cafe del mar kind of feel. The album- "FLASHBACK" was released later on in 2006 with 2 new tracks included. Today i see myself involved into remixing for the first time by for example having the opportunity to remix amongst many other artists the track from JEAN MICHEL JARRE'S Latest album:TEO & TEA(C) & (P) AERO PRODUCTIONS. A competition being created on WAT.TV in April of 2007. And therefore to continue to create new sounds and tracks . All this with the inspirations of the past and of the moment .With the enthusiasm to produce and to share my music works and vision with you all.......... This brief history of myne is to be completed by finally thanking each and every one of you for each word,e-mail that you send me.All your support to me which means so much... I thank all the artists listed here amongst many others.Creative persons & human visionaries that inspired me. I thank you therefore all for the inspiration that was conveyed to me all these years of my life and continues .... And finally but not least , GOD & All My Family..........."
