She was a little girl when she first learned how to read and write music, and play simple chords on the guitar. At the age of 12, her biggest dream came true: her own piano. Many songs were, and are still to be written on it. Bored by classical piano lessons, she started making up her own melodies and began writing songs. STEF lets her audience be part of her life: her experiences, feelings, and every day life are caught in her lyrics and music. The result: powerful songs and heartfelt ballads. Singing and writing songs have become Stef`s life. STEF spent a year in the US, where she discovered new facets of music which have definately influenced her music ever since. Her songs are a personal mix of pop, rock, country and STEF`s voice. First experiences with studio recordings and the many shows she sang, have caught producers` attention. Currently she works with producer Markus Born ( SÖHNE MANNHEIMS). Since 2003 Stef has toured many venues and festivals in Germany (Popkomm/Ringfest, Bochum Total, Radio NRW Sommer-Tour, Radio DU, TV-Gigs @ STUDIO47, featured @ viva.de etc.), but has also been on stage in the Netherlands and the US...there is more to come... STEF ist begeisterte Songwriterin! Stef machte schon früh mit Ihren ersten eigenen Songs auf sich aufmerksam. Sie verbrachte ein Jahr in den USA, wo sie neue musikalische Facetten entdeckte, die ihr Songwriting seither maßgeblich beeinflussen. STEF durchlebt in ihren Songs Erfahrenes aufs Neue und vermittelt dabei Gefühle ehrlich und direkt an ihr Publikum. Stilistisch bewegt sich die Musik irgendwo zwischen Pop/Folk/Country - immer mit starken Refrains und persönlichen Texten. STEF klingt amerikanisch aber singt auf deutsch. Dieser Mix macht Sie so ziemlich unvergleichlich Neben ihren eigenen Projekten konnte STEF Erfahrung als Studio- und Backgroundsängerin sammeln. Seit Anfang des Jahres arbeitet STEF mit Produzent Markus Born zusammen, der vor allem durch seine Produktionen mit den SÖHNEN MANNHEIMS bekannt geworden ist. STEF avancierte auch ohne Plattendeal schnell zum Liebling der Medien: Radio NRW Sommer-Tour, diverse Live-Performances bei Radio DU, TV-Auftritte bei STUDIO 47, Feature auf viva.de, WAZ unterstützte Tour 50 Gigs im Ruhrgebiet |
