Journalist Bandoo is a Jamaican Roots Reggae performer from Clarendon, Jamaica. After establishing himself in Jamaica by packing clubs followed by an onslaught of radio air play and sales, Journalist Bandoo started performing globally where he is currently performing sold out shows to a variety of races, creeds, and various demographics. Today's entertainment business is rapidly changing. Many bands have come and gone while Journalist Bandoo has continually packed houses and repetitively out sold his competition resulting in great returns to the venues and establishments backing him. Journalist Bandoo's longevity stems from his knack to appeal to the masses when cross marketed in and outside of the reggae community. This flexibility has spurred an almost cult like global following, which precedes him where ever he may travel to perform. If you feel like you love reggae, you may find that Journalist Bandoo is a cut above the rest. During the late 90's and early 2000's, rap, dancehall and raves have taken over as the most lucrative venue in the entertainment business for most. The problem that has arisen from this is wide spread violence and hard drug abuse. Journalist Bandoo and his supporting staff do not condone these aspects. When you listen to Journalist Bandoo's recordings his ability to compete in these arenas, as well as the ability to spread a wholesome message of peace and love will be clearly evident. In the rap and dance hall world Journalist Bandoo is know as the "Hook Man" and has been billed with many celebrities as well as dominating the traditional reggae scene. In addition to being able to sell out venues and deliver stunning endorsements, Journalist Bandoo has found time to contribute to world events such as hosting the Bob Marley Reggae Series. Journalist Bandoo started in Jamaica and still has a foot hold over there working with Jamaica's hottest producers such as Soljie Hamilton. He is backed and endorsed by the most renowned musicians such as Dean Frasier or Leebert "Gibby" Morrison. These world renowned players can be found on his material. When the professionals need a "Hook Man" or a true to life host with a message, Journalist Bandoo is the one to call upon to draw attention to the project or venue. Some people stereotype Jamaicans as very hard workers. This stereotype is very true in Journalist Bandoo's case. Club owners, venue planners, and music investors have always benefited from getting every penny's worth of Journalist Bandoo's performances. His music is heard and sold all over the world. Many companies are affixing themselves to his image because it sells, and sells well. His demeanor is very pleasant, leading to many return performances where you may just find yourself wanting more and more. Click here for Myspace glitter graphics and Myspace layouts |
