I saw John, Paul, George, then I saw Ringo. Aaah...Ringo. I saw all the screaming girls, and at that moment I think I thought to myself- I want THAT! At 5, I finally got to sit at and play a drum set at my neighbor's house. He was a teenager and his band was taking a break. I snuck up to the the kit and sat on the drum throne and at that moment, I was the king of everything I ever dreamed of! I very quietly played a drum beat. Somehow, I knew exactly what to do. This groove chose me, I did not choose it. I can still remember the exact drum groove that I played (if I ever meet you, I'll hum it to ya!) THESE DAYS I'M PINK'S DRUMMER: She called me and needed a a drummer for her summer '06 tour. I went to Russia with her last year and was blown away with what an amazing a vocalist she is. She is quite a talent, fiery and fun to hang out with. She has now asked that I be her permanent drummer - of course I said "yes!" and we just finished the most awesome World tour! Now it is Yazawa's turn in Japan...
