About Me
Ein ueberzeugter Bluesfan wurde ich 1968 durch die LP Alexis Korner..s Blues Incorporated, mit Dick Heckstall-Smith am Saxophon. Als dann noch 1969 Willie Dixon in der Kleinstadt Luebbecke auftrat (im damaligen Kino CC) war das ein absolut praegendes Ereignis. Der Blues ist mir bis heute ein treuer Begleiter, hat er mir doch auch in schlechten Zeiten immer sehr geholfen. Heute geniesse ich jedes gute Blueskonzert in vollen Zuegen. Das ich dafuer leider oft reichlich weit zu den "Tempeln des Blues" fahren muss: Bremen, Hannover, Hamburg, Osnabrueck, nehme ich gerne in Kauf. Uebrigens gehoeren Bluesfestivals natuerlich auch noch dazu. Nach all den Jahren ist eines wirklich auffallend: Ich habe bis auf sehr, sehr wenige Ausnahmen, nur hoefliche, "aufgeraeumte" und nette Musiker kennengelernt die eines gemeinsam hatten oder haben: DIE LIEBE ZUM BLUES UND EINE ABSOLUTE PROFESSIONALITAET. Dank an dieser Stelle allen Blueskuenstlern, die mir meine wenige freie Zeit, mit guter BLUESMUCKE veredelt haben und noch veredeln werden.
