| The members of MOKSA began performing together in Montreal in 2004, and rapidly built up a devoted fan base and established a strong reputation on the Montreal music scene. The band is comprised of members from different musical backgrounds, and thrive on their ability to combine their respective influences in order to create a unique and diverse sound. The band has released one 3 track demo and one 5 track EP and have enjoyed the time they have spent in various studios, but are proud to consider themselves a live band first and foremost. On stage, passion, energy, and music converge to create an electric atmosphere for all participants, audience as well as band members. Between strong vocals, catchy songs and tight, solid musicians, MOKSA is sure to turn heads, perk ears, tingle spines, raise hairs and have listeners tapping along to the sounds of their incendiary tunes.
