Born in the North of Spain, left to London before her 18th birthday and ended up staying there, on and off, for more than 10 years, where she has worked and learned next to different producers and musicians of the Blues, Jazz, Funk, Dub, DnB, World Music scene (Gavin Bush, ADFed, Community Music, ZEN studios...) and performed in various venues at the city (WKD, Vibe Bar, Astoria, Purple turtle, the Mass, the Fridge..). Also, with some Afro and Contemporary dance companies (Rustina's- Brixton Academy, Adzido PanAfrican Dance co...) Right now mainly based in Barcelona, where she has been working in various projects. Musically, freestylin' with DnB/2step/breakbeat/Dubstep Djs (Dj/McStormy-08001/BarXino, DjEgres, DjTamen, DjFrantic, DjCamilo, Corsario Riddim, DjMonne, DjSenbee, DjMaGma, Sabre, Subsound...), electro-house-techno (DjKinox, Las Fatales) and Funk/Soul (DjPanko-Ojos de Brujo, DjMax (BarXino), Asmatic, Anarkattack, Bongo Lounge), live and on radio sessions (www.kremadelic.com, www.dostreceradio.com). And one of the earliest members at NUBE9 crew. Formal lead singer on different bands: Palenque, Mr.Soul, Madame Zuzú, Dreamlab, Low Poison and GET GAS, an Electro-Funk project that started with producer Goni about 3 years ago. Still doing work with other producers in Barcelona and Europe (DjBu-Dubcelona, Farigola studios, DjVinyl Friendly, Nachman, MonsieurZ, SortedJ-Zumo de Tila, Sub-Frequency Funk, MrConfuse, Steve Snow & Stormy-ECHOSYSTEM, Patuka Low Boost, iLoGiKe - Hardly Brez Studios, DjSherg, Arhythmia...). Recently has started a Nu-Jazz/Funk/Hip Hop live project with guitar player Luis Fernando Cárdenas, Don G & Beat Nation, McStormy and Mauricio (percussion) called JazzFlexCollective. As well as, some contemporary dance/theatrical projects cooking...always on the move and ready to explore every performance field!------------------------------------------------------ -----------------------------------EMMA aka LADY EMZ: vocalista, bailarina y "performer" desde muy temprana edad.
