| Welcome to our spiritual garden! This page is dedicated to my art project From my experience From a very young age I have believed that we are all connected to each other, our environment, and the entire universe. These connections are explored through sciences, such as the genome project, and in spirituality, as in the teachings of Shintoism. Where we stand in human history, we are forced to grow as an individual and a species or we will become extinct. Humanity has advanced technologically, yet is still behaving in a tribal way. I believe we must review our values. We need to build on both our similarities and our differences. We need to become a more spiritual culture instead of being held back as a religious one. If we give ourselves the gift to be free to recognize the light within all of us and in everything around us, then we can understand that we are all the manifestation of one truth. This matter should be viewed responsibly; this issue should be seen as an entire whole. In order to live within an environment that promotes spirituality, we must join together to overcome the issues destroying our environment and crippling our human rights. We need to rewrite our international world ethic. I believe that the only way we can truly achieve peace, love, and joy on this planet is to first achieve these things within ourselves. We can do this by discovering the light that is within all of us and by being aware of our connection to other people and to the world. Possessing this knowledge and communicating it to others can lead us to achieve peace and equality throughout humankind. From these beliefs we can find our joy without waiting for it to be provided to us by an exterior source. I believe I am both the whole and the part! Everything is circular. We must live on the inside—as well as the outside—because only from the inside we have control. We must experience the truth. Humanity can achieve balance with these things by having equality and a safe place to experience each of its individual light. It is true that we are human, but we are also spiritual beings. We must assume our humanity, realizing its limits, and search inward to achieve our essence. My vision is to create a show that will inspire people in peace and spirituality; question their outlook on the world. The show will be an uplifting exhibition. It will show us the deep connection that we have with the rest of the world and the universe. That connection is spiritual; it is the light inside each one of us and in everything. For me it is the only way to achieve peace. It is, first to work on our insecurity, then become a responsible part of our world once we realize that the light is inside all of us. The Buddha, represents this for me. The project titled “The Spiritual Garden Path to Peace”; Will be an unlimited series of oil paintings ranging in sizes of 2’ by 2’ and 2’ x 3’ they will entail people of different races, religions and body composition. People understanding or feeling the connections, which cares and are involved with peaceful activities, saving the planet, spirituality or are helping others in need. I would paint them In the Buddha sitting on a lotus with various backgrounds. I feel that the Buddha is the best symbol of illumination or to the awakening to the connections. To the fact that we are all one with each other’s the planet or the universe. The show will be called, our spiritual garden, path to peace. . I will need the following resources for my show. First I need models to represent all of humanity; People of all races and cultures to represent the diversity of paths People in the public eye, who feel a connection to our world.
