Television:I was there in front of the Television in 1981 to see the launch of MTV. I also watched it become crap in 1987. I love music videos as art. Too bad no one plays them anymore. I vehemently eschew "Must See TV". I cannot stand the poor writing and telegraphed humor of most sitcoms. Drama fares better in my opinion such as in the case of 24. Mostly I watch DVDs of shows to escape the commercials. |
