| About Me? Not much to it, a single dad of 2 great kids Harrison and Olivia(see pics) and their evil twins Harriett and Oliver who appear occasionally. When not hanging with them I gotta have good music. For those of you in the Marietta, GA area you can't beat Darwins (http://www.darwinsblues.com/index.html)or in Alphatucy (Alpharetta, GA) check out One Star Ranch (http://www.onestarranch.com/) both small venues with great tunes and great staffs.Other favorites include the beach, Golf, which I haven't played in a year (long story)and horse racing. I make an annual trip to Saratoga Springs, New York for the Travers, one of the last races for some of the Horses that ran in the Triple Crown series before the Breeders Cup. (see pics).Food and Wine also rank up there in the favorites.Me and MySpace - I know many of you who hit here probably got here through my "Monday Morning Humor" email link.I am not out here to see how many friends I can collect,I am out here to meet new folks with common interests, make new friends and maybe promote some friends I have met along this adventure we call life.My MySpace won't be flashy and full of flashy tid bits just simple and well "me". A friend from IM land at work (Thanks Shannon) got me started and I have been tooling little by little at it. I am planning a blog to offer tid bits on good sounds, good food and good drink in the near future, just haven't got it together in my head yet. OK it may be quite a while the way my brain works. It took me 3 months to get my space,"about me" and such posted. Honestly I only work on it when H&O aren't around as they get dad's undivided attention. Plus when they aren't here (which is seldom)as previously mentioned dad has to get out and get some sounds and adult intervention.Welcome to Taveyland |

| First and foremost is my kids. They keep me young. Music and Cooking are both a close second. Cooking is my release from stress but I could never do it for a living. I also enjoy eating, mostly out somewhere and then trying to figure out how they make a dish. Favorite restaurant is Zucca in Smyrna, GA and now open in Kennesaw and soon in Woodstock.
