| !Nati nel 2004 "The Ones",giovane band di Napoli,iniziano subito a suonare dal vivo,
prima arrangiando le musiche dei grandi maestri anglosassoni (Dylan,Beatles,Clapton,
Pink Floyd etc...),cominciando poi a proporre la propria musica in numerosi locali
napoletani e Manifestazioni e Feste di Piazza,nonchè la solita trafila di concorsi
e rock contest.Ricevono ovunque ottimi riscontri da parte del pubblico e degli altri
musicisti.Nel 2005 comincia l'ideazione e la registrazione di un Ep autoprodotto
"Revolutio",che gli permette di allungare notevolmente la lista delle serate e delle
esibizioni live.Nel Dicembre 2006 avviene l'incontro con il produttore Daniele Landi,
proprietario della giovane etichetta indie di Firenze "Incipit Recordings" che li mette
sotto contratto per un album.Attualmente la band è in pre-produzione fino ad Ottobre,
quando cominceranno le registrazioni del loro debut album negli studi fiorentini della
Forears SoundAgency,la cui uscita Internazionale è prevista per il mese di Dicembre.
Seguirà un tour italiano ed europeo. La musica che suonano The Ones è profondamente impregnata ed intrisa di un sapore blues-folk americano che passa per il rock inglese degli anni '60 e '70.La vena cantautoriale della band è da trovarsi nei testi,mai banali o scontati quanto mai banali sono le trovate armoniche di un pianoforte più romantico che jazz.Il risultato è un suono rock-folk che non disdegna anzi rivaluta la forma musicale della "canzone pop",genere principe della musica contemporanea.
