| Jennifer Dawodu was born in Milwaukee where the night life is always filled with lots of Excitement and Live Music.Jennifer Dawodu grew up in London, has four brothers all of whom are Sports Driven. Being part of a sporting family brought out the competitive nature in her. Which then lead Jennifer Dawodu to compete in a series of Athletic Competitions.Her inspiration for singing derived from the harmonic sounds of a church choir who go by the name of St Marys Church of England Choir. Jennifer Dawodu eventually joined the Choir in 1995, has travelled to New York and Dublin many times with the Choir, and performed at two well known Cathedrals; St Pauls Cathedral and St Patricks Cathedral with the Choir. She Sang Soprano.In the year 2000, Jennifer Dawodu became familiar with the Open Mic Venues such as Troy Bar and The Spot based in Central London. Where she would Network and meet other Vocalists and Musicians and decided her stage name to be; Jennifer D.Between 2000-2006 Jennifer D has written many Gospel songs, joined the London Community Gospel Choir/Choir Connexion Agency. Through which joining Choir Connexions Jennifer D has been a part of a TV Programme called Mile High, appeared on Songs of Praise, Disney Kids Award, been to France and Wales with LCGC (London Community Gospel Choir), had done backing vocals for Beverly Knight, Raymond & Co and Joss Stone. She has sung at Weddings and Funerals at the request of those captured by her Dynamic and Eclectic Sound.Currently Jennifer D is studying a BA (Hons) in Social Work at Brunel University, sings in a Rock Band called Dirty Fuzz, and is doing a lot of session singing for Artist who are either Signed/Unsigned.Jennifer D had taken part in the 2006 'THRILLER LIVE' musical production where she sang a duet with the one and only Patrick Alan.
