A HERRING HISTORY : "All the worlds a herring", once wrote a great yet seldom read aquatic bard Shake A. Spear (an ancestor of Britney?). These words of wisdom have resonated ever since in the gills of Alex and Ra. Also known in singular terms as Alexandra. The transformation was gradual. Her struggling student days in terrestrial Paris where her human limbs couldn't take all that ebony and ivory tinkling. Her budget that quite oddly could only afford clothes. Her room the size of an aquarium. Who knows. All that is certain is that one day, or one foggy evening, the spirit of the herrings came unto her. Ahhh and such spirit it is : a keen sense of fun, a love of music and compassion for all living things except codfish. And now together, the herrings and Alexandra, their self-proclaimed queen, have embarked on a www journey : weird, whimsical and wacky. Long live the herrings! Long live Myspace! Cods : butt out ...
