| (English follows) Le belgo-québécois Vander, multi-instrumentiste, auteur, DJ, réalisateur et producteur, est actif depuis plus de quinze ans sur les scènes dEurope et dAmérique du Nord au sein de diverses formations (Les Frères Brozeur, Les Colocs, Vander dub expérience). Son style est largement influencé par le travail des King Tubby, Lee « Scratch » Perry, Linton Kwesi Johnson, Sly & Robbie, mais ne rejette ni sa culture francophone, ni les métissages que permet luniversalité de la musique. Le Bass ma Boom sound system est le terrain de jeu où il partage sa passion du reggae, du dub et de la bass culture en général avec d'autres musiciens, chanteurs et auteurs... pour que Bass ma Boom.*** By turns a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, DJ and producer, Belgian-born Quebec musician Vander has been active in various groups (Les Frères Brozeur, Les Colocs, Vander Dub Expérience) for over 15 years on the European and the North American scenes. Inspired by King Tubby, Lee Scratch Perry, Linton Kwesi Johnson and Sly & Robbie, his style reflects his francophone roots while leaving plenty of room for mixing, a natural product of the universality of music. Bass ma Boom sound system is a playground where he shares his passion for reggae, dub and bass culture in general with other musicians, singers and authors... so lets Bass ma Boom.
